Pastor David Cooper Sr.
Senior Pastor
Pastor Cooper grew up in South Jersey and later met his wife Cherri while training for the ministry at Tennessee Temple University. Shortly after graduating they married in 1976. While in school God used Pastor Cooper to assist in planting three churches. This gave him valuable experience for God’s next step in his life. The Coopers went on to become missionary church planters in New England. In May of 1983 they established Capeway Baptist Church in Buzzards Bay, Massachusetts. In 1992 the church became self supporting and called a full time pastor. In 1993 the Coopers began Silver City Baptist Church and pastor it to this day.
